Q: You used standard atmospheric pressure, but on 18, you used 80 degrees. How do you make these determinations properly?
A: If you're given a mass flow rate of steam or mass flow rate of water that's boiling in a during a room, and you want to convert that to BTU's, you can multiply by thousand BTU per pound, and that'll get you from pounds per hour to BTU's per hour. If you want to be more precise than that, then you have to have more information. And these two problems didn't give you exactly the information that you're probably hoping for.
